More and more pet owners are using the services of professional pet sitters to take advantage of the benefits in-home pet care provides:
  • Pets are happier and experience less stress at home
  • Diet and exercise routines are not interrupted
  • Travel stress for both the owner and the pet is eliminated
  • Pets exposure to illness is substantially minimized
  • Unreliable or untrained friends/family/neighbors need not be bothered
  • In-home professional pet care provides added peace of mind
I typically ask that you leave a copy of your key on file with me at the initial meet and greet. There is a $10 fee for me to personally return the key at a later date and a $5 fee to mail the key back.
I offer multiple payment methods for your convenience. You can pay via Check, Cash or Credit Card via Paypal. Payments are due at or before the time of service. Returned checks will result in a $25 fee and cash payment for future pet sitting services.
Invoices are emailed prior to a pet sitting service and payment is due at time of service.
I have to charge for cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice because it prevents me from accepting other clients. During holidays and peak times such as spring and fall break, a 5 day notice is required. Please be considerate in the timing of your cancellation as I turn many people away and have reserved my time for you. Cancellations not only hurt my business, but also leave others without pet care.
Yes, I require a signed statement that you agree to let me into your home to care for your animals and that you are aware of and agree to my policies.
Generally, I travel within a 6 mile radius of Westfield, IN. This is approximately the area east of Towne Road, west of River Road, south of 226th Street and north of 106th Street.

About Me

Thank you for visiting my site and getting to know me a bit better!

My name is Amanda and I am the proud owner and pet sitter of Pawsh Pet Sitting. I have lived in Indiana all of my life and attended St. Mary's College in Notre Dame, IN. Upon graduating Cum Laude with a B.A., I moved to Indianapolis where I began my Information Technology career. After 7 years in that industry, my husband and I opened my first business. I had previously attended Animal Arts Academy as a hobby and obtained my pet grooming certification to groom my miniature schnauzer. I ended up liking it so much, I also worked at the grooming school part-time. In 2004 we opened Platinum Paws Pet Salon in Carmel, IN, where I ran the business and groomed my furry four legged clients including both cats and dogs. We have always loved animals and had three pets of our own so it seemed only natural.

In 2005 our life took a different direction and we became parents. We sold Platinum Paws and I traded in my grooming career to be a stay at home mom to our children. Once our children were in school full-time, I decided to share my love of pets once again with the public as a loyal, trustworthy and caring pet sitter. Thus in 2012, Pawsh Pet Sitting was created. Outside of being a mom, a wife and a pet sitter, I enjoy watching movies, dabbling in decorating and visiting with friends while eating great food. My family and I reside in Westfield with our three spoiled dogs named Sasha (a rescued Pit Bull), Bentley (a Boston Terrier) and Bowser (a rescued Boxer).

I can't wait to get to know you and your extended pet family and hope you will consider me for your future pet sitting needs!
